In 1976, he was the founding president of the “Nufărul” PhotoClub Oradea (which he has been running for 45 years), individual member of the International Federation of Photographic Art (affiliated to UNESCO). The PhotoClub is considered to be the most representative club of Romania and is an official partner organization of “Euro Foto Art” Association of Oradea; In 2008 he was the founding president of the “Euro Foto Art” International Association of Oradea, which he has been running since its establishment. “Euro Foto Art” Association is currently a Regional Member of the International Federation of Photographic Art (affiliated to UNESCO) and has concluded partnerships with 54 photographic societies from several European countries and Asia: China (China Photo Network Online) and Japan (Photogrpay Society of Japan, - Tokyo and “Japan Danube” Photoclub), Singapore (Asia Photographers Union, India (Bengal Photography Institute,, Creative Art Solution), Middle East (WPG Saudi Arabia (PIP Alexandria – Egypt), ”Abgineh” Photo Club Iran . He is the coordinator of the national project entitled “Nationalities of Romania”, which has led until now to the organization of some national salons of photographic art and to the publication of some art catalogues. In this context, the following salons were inaugurated: “The Hungarians of Romania” (2011), “The Germans of Romania” (2012), “The Jews of Romania” (2013) and “The Roma of Romania” (2015), etc. He is the director of the “Euro Foto Art” Publishing House, authorized by the Ministry of Culture, which edited a series of fine-art photography albums and catalogues. He is the founder and principal curator of the first Romanian Photography Museum.
