Can’t Get It Out Of My Head is an intriguingly playful series by French photographer Emmanuelle Brisson. The curious collection of unusually amusing portraits depicts a woman in a series of questionable headgear. From an octopus suction-cupped to her scalp to Christmas lights tightly wound around her face, this woman seems to have a lot on her mind, as represented by her fashion antics challenging the likes of Lady Gaga.

The series is light-hearted by nature and it also instinctively draws parallels to the wild fashion choices that walk down the runway and earn the spotlight on the red carpet. Additionally, it seems to celebrate and challenge femininity. The photographer's body of work is known for using the female form and although this series often conceals the model's head, it is clear that she is a woman. Even with a watermelon on her head, the model's form exudes an inexplicable femininity.
